CONCEPTUAL INSPIRATION BEHIND PERPETUAL RINGS

Hello lovelies,

I hope you’ve gotten some rest thus far during this long weekend.

For me, I’ve been working these few days to prepare for the second half of the PERPETUAL series, and here it is!

The PERPETUAL RINGS are also based on the concept of Continual / 未中断 (wèi zhōng duàn). When looking at designs, I’ve always wondered why circles seem to be visually more pleasing than ovals? I wondered if it was because we tend to associate perfection and goodness with circles. But the funny this is, an oval is just an elongated circle. It is still a circle at the end of the day. Just like a circle, you still don’t know at what point it starts and when it ends, and therefore it is continual.

Just like how times may seem difficult now with the situation going on perpetually with the future looking bleak. But let us all do our best, and I hope that you’ll see that even in tough times, we are not less or more perfect than we’ve ever been. We’ll pull through it together.
